Plaid Grandpa Wrapping







Merry & Plaid Wrapping.

Balloon gift box:

You will need:
      medium to large white gift box
      balloons?
      crepe paper pieces (size: they need to fit around the box)
      scissors
      tape

HOW TO: Tie balloons together to create a long enough piece to wrap around the box and tie together. Tie the balloons around the box every few inches (for a medium box, I tied 4 strands of
balloons. Then attach streamers using tape around the box in the empty spaces.

Candle Jar gift

You will need:
      1 jar
      2 red balloons
      1 piece of plaid ribbon (sized to fit around jar and taped in back)
      1 small piece of maroon sheer ribbon
      scissors
      tape

HOW TO: Tie two myler balloons or many regular balloons together until it is the right length to stretch over your glass jar and fit tightly below the lid. Attach a small piece of maroon sheer ribbon to the end of the balloons. wrap a piece of plaid ribbon around the middle of the jar and tape using double sided tape.

G-PA gift box

You will need:
      1 medium to large white gift box
      crepe paper
      green wrapping paper
      plaid ribbon (sized to fit around the present)
      “G”, “P”, and “A” paper die cuts or stickers (using a stencil or paper cutting machine)
      craft glue
      glue stick
      scissors
      tape

HOW TO: Wrap the box with green wrapping paper. Cut three pieces of red crepe paper to fit the bottom width of the box and glue overlaying one another. Using scissors, cut pieces of the bottom of the crepe paper pieces to create the frayed look. Glue a piece of plaid ribbon to the top of the crepe paper. Using a stencil or paper cutting machine, glue the letters “G”, “P”, and “A” to the top of the box as a gift for grandpa.

Plaid Monogram gift box

You will need:
      1 medium to large white gift box
      4 pieces of plaid ribbon (sized to fit around the gift box)
      2 pieces of maroon ribbon (sized to fit around the gift box)
      scissors
      double stick tape

HOW TO: Wrap the box with green wrapping paper. Cut three pieces of plaid ribbon and two pieces of maroon ribbon to fit around the length of the box. Using double sided tape, attach the pieces of ribbon to the middle of the box. Cut some plaid ribbon to resemble a letter. In this example, we used the letter “L” and taped it into place on the side of the box.
