HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE BABY FOOD

I made some homemade baby food for my little one a few weeks ago. Making baby food couldn't be easier and it's so much better. It costs less money too so blending baby food couldn't be easier. You also can freeze. I have been freezing baby food now for a while and it's a great way to store and keep bulk. It was really easy to do, cheaper than buying baby food, and you can freeze it!

#1. peel, and chop a fruit or vegetable that is suitable to freeze (a lot are but I wouldn't recommend freezing bananas)

#2. then put them in a steamer on top of the stove until they are nice and tender. (if you choosing a potato or yams, you don't need to do this step. instead bake them and mash)

#3. put in freezer trays and cover in plastic. they should be good for 3-6 months. Don't put them in the freezer door though because they don't freeze as well in there. Also make sure to label them with what fruit/vegetable and the date.

#4. when you need to use them just pop out one or two from the ice cube tray, let it sit and defrost for an hour or two and serve.
